Back to Basics...

Back to Basics

Good Morning and welcome to another edition of The Foxybrown Show!
As you all know “604” has departed and arrived safely in the UK.
Thank you guys so much for all of the love and prayers. It looks like our boy is going to be ok. I will call and confirm that this morning though.

Now the weekend of course was interesting….After staying up all night helping “6” with his laundry and packing/cleaning (what? are yall surprised?) we carted him off to JFK International airport. For those of you who are “sponsors” of the show you guys read earlier this year how I feel about this airport. Nothing has changed!!! LOL

All I can say is that at 7am we where pulling up at the terminal and what we thought was going to be an emotional farewell ended up being a fukkin mess. Turns up I parked incorrectly and was blocking traffic so “6”, "Mr. A. Gay" and I are saying our goodbyes and I’m on the verge of tears as I hand “6” the letter that I have written for him. A cop starts yelling at us to “Move the damn car” we didn’t respond initially but eventually we heard the same cop yelling at us saying “Stop making such an emotional deal out of it” Ok so that was the comment that got my ass yelling back at the silly cop. At first I kept glaring at him as though I was looking for a fight but I guess he figured he pushed enough buttons so he started to laugh and I returned my focus to “6” on last reassuring glance and my brother was gone…..

Jersey City Gay Pride???
I’m still wondering, when I say complete 360 degree turn from what it was last year. Last year I volunteered for the event of course at the information booth (you know me always willing to help). Much less people, Entertainment was not so hot but the one thing that brought a smile to my face was when I parked my car and saw “Lucky” waiting on the corner. I swear even when I’m pissed at this boy I can just see him and all of that goes out of the window. Anyhow, after finishing up what we think was pride we spent the evening watching “Good Times” Season 1 on DVD. “Dynomite”!

“Lucky” was a little worried about me feeling down about “6” leaving so he stayed the night and it was nice to have him there by my side.

Now Sunday is way too much to drum up in this post so I decided to fill you guys in on that part on Tuesday!

I’m Back to the Basics…..What are you guys up to this Monday Morning?

I can't believe that cop said that! How rude and inconsiderate. I think you were admirably calm in your response. Cool points. :-)

I just got up and I'm about to finish the last chapter of my second book this morning. Can't wait to get over this hurdle.

Ya, I hate cops anyway, and that story just makes me dislike them even more. I'm glad to hear your bro made it over okay, though. :)

Nothing much going on here...wish I had some Good Times to watch. hehe

you know i would say that is fucked up, but you know the "new york state of mind"....

yeah monday is here, and i rather it be tuesday already, yeah your girl is moody today.

i don't particularly care for JFK airport either.

everytime i volunteer for an event, i always i have fun, no matter how shitty it might have been compared to previous years. plus your peoples will be out there, and that's what it's all about.

Good Morning Love Drops!

I'm glad you able to "let go and let God" and hey now you got a fabulous place to visit, like the UK. Can you say "sky miles!"

I'll be posting something this afternoon, you know how we gotta map out, work AND "play" @ work...lol.

Ta ta for now!

Yeah, I think the NYPD application asks can you be completely rude to everyone and anyone within the city limits? If you put "YES" they hire you! So sorry the farewell, wasn't so well.

But Monday news...just checking out the hurricane news to see if I'll ever be able to repeat my drunken trips to New Orleans. If Bourbon Street is destroyed I'm gonna be pissed at some one eyed bitch named Katrina. Obviously she's got a drinking problem if she's sucking moisture from the Gulf and spitting it all over the US. Talk about not holding her drinks well....
