Superhero…
The Farewell party Saturday night was a major success “604” and “Mr. A.Gay” had a great time and all of the guests were pleased. The Souvenir CD’s that “Red” made were also a nice touch. Now this was not easy there was a ton of running around and madness going on behind the scenes that made this happen. “Red” and I must have made 30 trips back and forth between the grocery Store and coffee runs I think I received 3 hours of sleep the entire weekend. Now there were several crazy moments during this weekend but I had my Superhero’s around to make life a little easier. “Red” had the great idea to make Frozen Martinis instead of individual drinks which was a smash, “The Starr” got creative with all of the decorations in the final hours and my intern and I turned the Kitchen out!

Now….You ask if there was drama??? Of course there was drama! Did you guys forget what show this is?
Anywho… “604” invited a young lady who we will simply call “Beautiful” to the party this is a young lady that he has expressed quite a bit of interest for within the last month or so. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this girl and her ability to work the crowd. Now what was interesting about this all is that he also invited several other young ladies that he has had some history with and at several moments during the evening the tension was pretty thick but we clearly knew who the winner was in this game!
Late Saturday night “Dr.Know” made his way to the event to say his farewell to “6” and grab a meal. Shortly after that around 1am “Boston Public & Company” arrived in NYC and “Red” and I make our way to the city to escort them to the festivities….NOW, here is where things get real interesting. We are all up laughing and talking and shooting the shit and eventually it’s time to turn in…..Sorry the details of the remainder of that evening are under lock and key however, I will say to you all it was a REAL Pisser!
(Those of you who were there know that we live in a place of non-judgment and we also live in a place where alcohol flows freely all hours of the day)
Sunday was a hot damn mess as well….It started with a gossip session between the “circle of sisters” which also included a learning lesson. All I can say is that in LIFE shit happens it is how you handle that SHIT that makes you a Superhero. Most of us don’t know how, we take events and make them 10x the actual size and hurt other people in the process and at the end of the day we realize that these things were never really worth the drama caused. I realized on Sunday that I have Super powers and I have a few “Superhero’s” in my cast!
Breakfast was good and ghetto Fish & Grits, Cheese Eggs and something I think was supposed to be Turkey Bacon (Why does that shit NEVER come out right) Eventually “Red & Starr” make their ways back to the DC area and the clean up begins however “Boston Public & Company” are still in town so we hit the streets doing a little hanging and touring. We end our evening with a quick stop at “Chengs” for some Ghetto Chinese and “BP” and I begin to have some in depth discussions about “Lucky Charm” and how things need to remain going forward. During this conversation I realized how much of a Superhero I am and how many I have around me so today I give thanks to all my partners in crime this weekend…

I've been a superhero for quite a while. Reese the Law Girl is my superhero name. I have the mysterious Law Girl powers that mess with people's minds and make them go crazy. The side effect of course is that I go crazy too.

FoxyBrow..e..uh Chocolate Boy I think I'd like to be "HottieMan" a little something like Hugh Hefner but not way-old with bad cheek implants...so HottieMan's super powers would be his ability to surround himself wtih beautiful women of all races and hair color and when somebody needed saving or to be rescued he could just send one or two of his hotties out to save the poor person....and um he would have to have a ton of money so I guess the hottie would have to require a donation for her rescue work and then bring back that donation to Hottieman...yes that is how it should go...oh yes and as for his superhero outfit it would have to be something nice like an Armani Suit and drive a nice car... gee I guess he could have could go by "Pimpman" too.
